ASIA: Weekly Roundup, Episode 68

Next, AHRC TV reports on an upswing in disappearances in Bangladesh, including the abduction by of opposition leader Salah Uddin Ahmed by Rapid Action Battalion officers.

Finally, AHRC TV touches on a recent campaign by another Right Livelihood Laureate, tribal rights non-profit organisation Survival International. Survival has been highlighting the violent and illegal eviction of tribal people in the name of tiger conservation in India.
