ASIA: Weekly Roundup, Episode 64

This week’s episode of Weekly Roundup covers recent event involving human rights groups in Asia.

The show begins with an announcement about the Asian Human Rights Commission. The AHRC is moving to a new office in Hong Kong.

In Mumbai, India, the first conference of Right Livelihood Laureates is scheduled to begin. Experts, politicians, journalists, and many others will convene to tackle problems from across the continent.

Finally, Basil Fernando was honored in Sri Lanka for his human rights work, as well as for his receipt of the Right Livelihood Award. AHRC TV brings you coverage of the event.
