Urgent Appeal Case: UP-02-2005
ISSUES:
Dear friends,

The Asian Human Rights Commission is sharing the updated information about items urgently needed to the people affected by tsunami through local authorities in Kalutara, Matara and Batticaloa districts in Sri Lanka. We also received the news that Sri Lanka is currently short of stocks of flours for consumption. Prompt foreign aid is required so as to avoid any repercussion.  (Please also refer to the list of required medical items announced by the Ministry of Health on 29 December 2004.)

If you need further details, please kindly contact us or the person in UNDP in the following email address: ramraj.narasimhan@undp.org
