ASIA: Weekly Roundup, Episode 91

This week, AHRC TV reports from Geneva, where Sanjida Islam from Bangladesh has met with the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances to try to gather international support for her struggle to find her disappeared brother who was abducted in December 2013 by the notorious Rapid Action Battalion.

Also in Geneva, the Right Livelihood Award Foundation jury has deliberated upon and decided the 2015 Laureates. An introductory press conference was held to allow press in the City to learn more about the Foundation, which has recently opened a Geneva office.

The four new Laureates of the Right Livelihood Award will be announced on October 1, in a press conference at the Stockholm office of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
