ASIA: Weekly Roundup, Episode 42

The 42nd episode of Human Rights Asia Weekly Roundup is a special programme observing the International Day of the Disappeared.

Enforced disappearance is a human rights atrocity widely prevalent in many parts of Asia. In this programme, AHRC TV reports on the disastrous realities of enforced disappearances in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and the Philippines.

The episode concludes with the observations of Basil Fernando, Director of Policy and Programmes, Asian Human Rights Commission, on how disappearances represent a civilizational crisis.
