Sri Lanka has spent £ 8,500,000 (Rs. 1,698,980,000/=) for the purchase of firearms and weapons, in fact, pistols and ammunition to be precise. Is this the best way to spend such a large sum of money in a country which is beset with so many acute problems?

A short video presents many more useful things that could have been done with this money for the benefit of the people.
