The act is often used by the forest department officials to put charges against the tribes who collect forest products from the forest though the tribe's behavior has nothing to do with the wildlife protection. The tribe are thus arrested, abused, assaulted directly by the forest department officials. They have to pay for the bribes to the officials to avoid the further abuse or bail after trial.

The documentary explains the multidimensional impacts of the gaharu trade on the environment and indigenous Auwyu dan Wiyaghar, in Assue District, Mappi, in the South of Papua Province. The film then explores the new hopes that emerged with the deployment of a government fact finding team to resolve the issues, which produced some solutions, suggestions, and reduced disagreement.
